Built by the first two families to settle on Monhegan, the John Sterling Guest House is both charming and historic. A two-floor, two-bedroom apartment with a full bathroom, kitchen and sunny back deck, containing one master bedroom with a full bed and a vaulted ceiling and one loft bedroom with twin beds. A cot can be set up in the loft bedroom if needed. Amenities for the kitchen include: range, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer.
The John Sterling Guest House is located on the hill above the wharf with beautiful water views. You can watch the sunset over the harbor on the side lawn. Across the road you’ll find the Island Inn, serving gourmet lunch and dinner.
This property is connected to the separately managed John Sterling Harbor House.
Accommodates 4, electricity, wi-fi, non-smoking, children welcome, dogs under 30 lbs considered.
Minimum rental: 3 nights
$425 + tax per night
$1800 + plus tax per week
*A $50 charge will be added for each additional person per night. Children 5 years old and under stay FREE.
