Halcyon

Halcyon was built in 1864 and we have been honored custodians since 1938. Its wide pine floors and colorful interior make for a warm and inviting stay, while its back deck provides beautiful views of the ocean and mainland.
Halcyon is available for rent in May, June, September and October.

Doll House

The Doll House is a cozy, two-level cottage conjoined to her sister, Halcyon. Converted from and old boat barn, the Doll House features wide pine floors downstairs with ample seating, an intimate atmosphere, and simple elegance. There is a small heater to help take the chill off the evenings, and the sounds of the ocean sing you to sleep.
Upstairs you’ll find the kitchenette and dining area, and a much more rustic feel. Artists such as George Bellows painted in this space when it was still an artists’ loft, and we’ve never been willing to close off the open studs or refinish the floor, thereby hiding the blue-green evidence of their time here on the island.
The main bedroom is freshly painted and faces east to receive the beautiful morning sun. A daybed off the dining area provides additional sleeping space, and The Cornflower Room (below) is sometimes available for annexation to the Doll House for even more room.
Located on a hill, the property features views of the ocean and village.
It is available for rent in May, June, September and October.
